Elation - Luxury Beach-house
The Place
Elation is an enchanting beachfront boutique Villa nested between the serene waters of a sleepy lagoon and embracing the cooling beaches of the Indian Ocean. Indulge yourself, take a morning stroll down the untouched sands of Kalamatiya beach as the waves gently wash over the golden sands. Let go and embrace the truly magical sunsets and let the soft purple hues of the sky soothe your senses. The secluded villa gives the guests a sense of privacy, with a private beach, swimming pool and plenty of water sports activities in the calm lagoon, but still very convenient and accessible. Elation is just 2 and a half hours from the Colombo Highway entrance, a 3.0-hour drive from the international airport, a 1.5-hour drive from Matara and just half an hour away from the new Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport. The property offers a “free” airport shuttle service for bookings over 7 days.
The boutique Elation Luxury Beach-House is a perfect tropical hideaway, only a short walk away from the Kalametiya Bird Sanctuary which is a paradise for nature lovers, a Fisheries Harbour which boasts the best catch in the area and a short drive to the Hummanaya Blow Hole.
Night comes alive if you wish to see the fisherman’s haul and marvel at the fresh seafood or take a night tour to see the Sea turtles laying eggs on the world-famous Rekawa beach.
What You Will Find
The villa is fully staffed including a chef and one general staff, offering informal and enjoyable open-plan living, a place for friends and families to spend their days swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, playing archery or beach volleyball, badminton, exploring, fine dining on the lakeshore or the beachfront, or just relaxing in one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline of the paradise island. The kids too would enjoy, as the property offers a mini kids' playground and very comfortable sunbeds and swings for the parents to unwind whilst keeping an eye on them.
The tastefully designed villa houses 3 rooms and a family studio. The rooms Serenity and Allure are on the 2nd floor offering breathtaking sea and lagoon views whilst the Tranquillity room on the ground floor offers relaxing views of the serene oasis of the lake. The studio, serendipity is equipped with a modern kitchen, dining area, flat screen TV, washing machine, and dishwasher and opens to a wraparound pool that hugs the villa offering uninterrupted views of the warm Indian ocean that stretches to infinity from one side and harmonise melody of the lagoon from the other.
Located in the south of the island, guests can enjoy both invigorating sunrises and spectacular sunsets. Elation - Alpine Cottage
The Place
Elation Chalet, another recent member of the elation group of boutique villas is a stunningly beautiful mountain hideout oozing with romance. It is nested on top of a mountain offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and lakes. This is the last property at the edge of a strict nature reserve that extends to horton palins Sri Lanka, that guarantees uninterrupted, 360 degree stunning views. Nested at the top of the mountain basin, looking up to the Cronical Hill and overlooking the Kanda Ella reserviour, the Elation Chalet is a secluded romantic masterpiece. Emierse yourself as the mist flows into the chalet while relatining in the wrap around balconey enjoying some Glühwein and alpine food, or induldge yourself in the warm bubling jacuzzi in the rooftop soking in the atmosphere. We invite you to feel the joy of this pristine, misty mountain chalet. The is staffed by a dedicated caretaker, who will take care of all your needs.
What You Will Find
Elation is just 7KM away from the famous town of Nuwara Elliya that offers a wide variety of attactions such as golf courses, jet skies, horse riding, etc. to tourists. It is on the way and very close to the Horton plains National Park, which has been declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The park lies approximately 20 Km south of Nuwara Eliya. Horton Plains, the surrounding forests and the adjoining Peak Wilderness constitute Sri Lanka’s most important catchment area, of almost all major rivers. The Horton plains are of outstanding scenic beauty containing most of the habitats and endemic plants and animals, representative of the country’s wet and montane zones.
